Our IKEA Wardrobe Fitting Service Process

1. Initial inquiry

Give us as much detail as you can about your room and your project. Including room sizes, wardrobe sizes and the wardrobe specification if you can.

2. Initial conversation & Advice

We’ll give you a call to get more details. We’ll work through you aspirations for your fully fitted wardrobe. We can then advise you on the things you need to consider.

3. Initial estimate

Based on our conversation, we’ll provide you with an estimate to complete the work. We’ve found at this point people often like to go back to IKEA to firm up what they are going to buy.

4. Final specification and quotation

Once you’ve firmed up the specification for your fully fitted wardrobes. Let us know and we can give you a firm quote to complete your installation.

5. Pick your dates

You’ll give us a couple of preferred dates and we’ll book you in. It’s most effective when we work together to get the delivery and the build scheduled to coincide

6. Love the finished article

We will come and install your custom IKEA wardrobe. You’ll love your new bedroom.

IKEA Custom Wardrobe Services

Width / Height reduction - Cut downs
- Height reduction – PAX frame cut down service – for rooms with lower ceilings, to create that floor to ceiling look.
- Height reduction for hinged wardrobe doors cut down service applies to wooden doors. Unfortunately it is not possible to cut hinged mirror doors.
- Height reduction – metal sliding door cut down service (yes, we can cut the mirror panels on sliders but not the glass panels).
- Depth reduction service for smaller rooms. Take a few inches off the back of the wardrobe and reclaim some much needed floor space. It can make a huge difference to the space in your room.
- Width reduction. We can cut down your PAX slider or hinged door wardrobe to fit into a smaller gap for a stunning wall to wall effect.
Width / Height - In Fills & Surrounds
- We can in-fill the height of your wardrobe with a surround at the top of the wardrobe. This gives a beautiful finish making it fit floor to ceiling seamlessly.
- We can in-fill the width of your wardrobe, with a surround at the side of the wardrobe. This gives that stylish fully fitted look wall to wall.
Eave storage, sloping ceilings - Angle cutting
- Eaves custom fit. We install wardrobes in rooms with sloping ceilings. This gives you neat solutions for loft conversions or around a beam or rafter.
- Cutting to fit over radiators, existing pipework or to provide access to plug sockets.
Coving and skirting - Scribing
- We can remove cornice and skirting boards to give you maximum space.
- Or retain it and clean cut and close scribed to perfection.

Finished installation looks amaazing

Denver and Alex did a fantastic job. We had a lot of wardrobes built and installed, There was some customisation needed and filling in which was done very well indeed.

Communication before, during and after was excellent. Denver and Alex arrived on time and worked really hard to get everything done. Attention to detail was great and the finished installation looks amazing.

Bespoke wardrobes for a fraction of the cost

Amazing service! I now have a full wall of made to measure, bespoke looking wardrobes for a tiny fraction of the cost for ‘true’ made to measure.
